Our opinion:

The wines of Hétszőlő wine family represent well balanced, elegant style of Tokaj Region. The main grape variety is Furmint along with Hárslevelű. The vines are planted on the south part of Mount Tokaj where vinification dates back to 15th century. We treat our vines and wines with the greatest care listening to the nature. This approach enables us to bring clear and honest wines to your table with excellent good value for money. At the production of 3 Puttonyos Aszú wine we select the noble aszú berries (botrytised berries) out from the bunch of grapes. After these special berries go under the process of maceration in freshly pressed must, this very rich juice gets pressed and fermented in new oak barrels for at least 2 years.

About the Vintage :
The weather pattern of 2006 resembles that of 2005, and so do its wines. A cooler than average summer, a warmer than average autumn, low yields and high quality botrytis, followed by shriveling resulted in perfect aszú grapes. The wines offer the finest form of botrytis: pure notes of dried fruits, and classic, well-defined and delineated textures.
Tasting notes
We can find very intense botrytis notes in this wine thanks to the 2006 vintage. Figs, a bit tobacco and dried apricot, honey notes too. It has a complex body, good minerality and smooth texture.
